Tinpot Records was founded in 2021 by London-based singer-songwriter Tom Rosenthal with the ambition of creating a place where he would feel comfortable signing too. The funny thing is, despite his songs gaining more than a quarter of a billion streams, Tom has always self-released and never had a label.

Too many labels, especially the big ones, have long used exploitative structures that restrict artists in several ways. So, Tom has designed a label with the artist firmly in mind. For instance he believes that artists should always have the lion’s share of the proceeds.

A label run by artists for artists, fostering a supportive and creative community. Tinpot has already signed a number of great artists and is always on the look out for more!
